Yes.You got it right.Ram Vilas Paswan has thrown himself in the contest for first dalit prime minister and the contradictions of Third front are out in the open in just a few days.
Third Front is nothing but a mixture of parties which have no single ideology common to all except the ambition to keep out the Congress and the BJP from ruling at the centre. Is this common agenda enough to rule the country?
The first prime ministerial candidate was recently responsible for the murder of a PWD Engineer just because he was not ready to shed some moolah for her birthday gift. The second one has not too long ago aired his views about reservations in the Private sector at par with that in the Public. These are the kind of people the third front has to offer us as prime minister.God knows who they have in store for Finance,Foreign,External Affairs,Home ministeries.
It is high time India voted not for religion, not for caste, not even for regional preferences,Lok Sabha elections are not meant for that. All of us need to rise above these divisions and vote for the party who we think will provide us a stable, sound, progressive government.I have yet to figure out which party could provide me with such options but I'm sure about one thing..It is not the Third Front.

Sorry..no more third front
BJP-BJD alliance heading for a split in Orissa..I heard this on CNN few days back and the news that followed was CPI-M strikes alliance with BJD, pushes for Third Front
How can you all of a sudden decide to join hands with someone you have fought against for 11 long years. I know there are no permanent friends or foes in Politics but give me a break...Shouldn't have you waited for some time to air your ambitions.
Today I heard that Behenjee is vying for the hot seat and has put this as her condition to join the third front. We can not allow these lunatics to run this country..definetely not at this crucial juncture when what India needs is a strong, powerful and united government.
